IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a translation in English of the original French T&Cs and privacy policy. Such a translation is intended to help you to understand the original French text. In case of dispute, the French version is to be considered as the sole reference and deciding document.

The purpose of these general conditions of use (called “T & Cs”) and privacy policy is to define the legal framework around the access, navigation and use of the http://emg2.com/ website (hereafter called “EMG2 website”) as well as its associated services provided by EMG2 Company and to determine the terms and conditions to access and use the content and all related functionalities provided through EMG2 website for the “User”.

 

These T & Cs and privacy policy are jointly called the “Legal Notice” and are accessible on the site under the “Legal Notice” section.

 

Continuing to use the EMG2 Website implies unreserved acceptance of the provisions and conditions of use that follow. The currently online version of the Legal Notice is the only one opposable throughout the duration of use of the site and until a new version replaces it.

ARTICLE 2: Access to the website

 

EMG2’s website allows a free access to the User, to the information it contains, particularly to information related to EMG2 and its partners as well as any related information about the products and services offered by EMG2 or its partners, information on the targeted applications and markets and on all the news related to the various activities of EMG2. The site is accessible free of charge anywhere to any User with Internet access. All costs incurred by the User to access the service (computer hardware, software, Internet connection, etc.) are the responsibility of the User. EMG2 declines all responsibility for any connection or display problems of the information contained on the EMG2 website, as well as for the use which could be made of it by the user.

 

ARTICLE 3: Data collection, confidentiality and GDPR

 

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) adopted by the European Parliament on April 14, 2016, and the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as amended, EMG2 informs you of the following points:

When contacting us via the contact form or by phone or any means provided on this website, personal data could be collected. These are stored in our e-mail system and possibly in our CRM system to handle such requests. Accessing EMG2 website is possible without giving any personal information. However, please note that every time you access our website, some basic usage data could be transmitted through the respective Internet browser and stored in log files, the so-called server log files (for example, the date and time of retrieval, the name of the page accessed, the amount of data transmitted and the requesting provider). Such data can not be assigned to a specific person and serve solely to ensure trouble-free operation of our website and to improve our offer. There is a log file for each week of the year, so this information will be overwritten after 1 year at the latest.

 

– Processing of personal data

EMG2 does not record personal information allowing identification except the contact request form which you are free to fill out for your inquiries or contact. EMG2 may process your personal information for the purposes of providing you with the information or services you have requested. This information will be used to contact you following your request for further exchanges or information.

The brands, logos, signs as well as all the content of the site (texts, images, sound, etc.) are subject to protection by the Intellectual Property Code and more particularly by copyright.

All reproduction rights are reserved. The commercial use of EMG2 website contents without written permission of EMG2 SARLis prohibited. With the exception of some photos acquired from IStock and Pixabay, the texts and images available at www.emg2.com and all pages connected to this website were created for it by EMG2 which is the sole owner of such content. User must request prior permission from EMG2 for any reproduction, publication, copy of the various contents. He agrees to use the contents of the site in a strictly private context. Any use  of EMG2 website content for commercial and advertising purposes is strictly prohibited. As a consequences, you acknowledge that EMG2 SARL cannot be liable, or responsible, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss of any kind caused by any content, advertising, service, product or information from the linking websites.
